We here at IG have had our fair share of games we think deserved better, but one game comes to mind that nobody expected anything going out of the gate with, and I was pleasantly surprised by. It's easy to dismiss the Wii's motion controlled game library as a passing fad that held no value, but in the both the Wii and Wii U's life, more than a few games made them work pretty well. Mario and Sonic was one of those mini-game franchises that managed to turn out a fairly quality product with the novelty of Nintendo and Sega's big rivalry being put into video game form. Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games ditched motion controls altogether, but still managed to be just as fun as the previous games, and has a score that is so good I actually downloaded the music for it. I've talked about these games at length and my opinion remains the same. These games have a lot of time and effort put into them, and they're criminally under looked.
